Here's what happened:

A few months ago, I contacted a few friends on Linkedin and asked if they would like to do a promotional exchange.

I would post/twitter/email my 60k connections about their product or service if, in exchange they would let their own

friends and connections know about my free compilation download.

The response was quite overwhelming. I not only got a lot more fans and followers but my Linkedin connections started

to become real friends. We are still in touch during the week and they have been enormously helpful and generous to me.

Then I had this idea: They should all get to know each other. At first I was going to just introduce them to each other

but as the requests came pouring in, it struck me what it would make for a great social networking site.

This is it.

I think this is as good as it gets.
